Bryn Poliwczynski (c) 2012 Do NOT steal, download, re-post, claim as your own, copy, physically make and/or sell my designs, etc.!

My entry for :iconfashionfever-contest:'s June contest ( [link] ): a collection based off of the listed types of Popsicles.

From left to right: Orange Creamsicle, Fudgsicle, Firecracker, Classic (orange), Traditional (soft serve) Ice Cream Cone, and Firecracker (repeat, because its my favorite).

Update Apparently, my computer is okay today. I managed to rearrange them! :w00t:! I didn't like the tans, browns, and cremes next to each other. It made them looked washed out. But its all good now! :3

Just to clear something up: one of my pet peeves is when people say that the last place a woman would want pockets (especially big ones) is on her thighs, because it makes them look bigger. Give me a break. Your models are size negative 2. It's not making her legs look fat. I intentionally placed the pockets where they are on the orange cargo pants because I design things that I would wear, and I, personally, am a twig with no hips or thighs, so I happen to like giant pockets there (not to mention the roomy carrying space for drawing utensils). If a customer did not have the same body type as me, then guess what? They don't have to wear it. Honestly, get a grip, people: if you go into a store, obviously something that looks good on one person won't look good on you, and what looks good on you won't look good on the next person. Please use common sense.

(lol I foresaw that I was going to get flack for those pockets, so I put my 2 cents here.) :3

Blick markers and Prismacolor markers and pens on Bee Paper.

I really like your collection. I also really like that each was inspired by a different Popsicle, but that you added elements to make them all cohesive, and I think that's something that's often missing in these challenges. Most people seem to design each for a certain inspiration and don't pay attention to the overall picture. So I really love that you did so.

I love the colorblocking, especially the shapes on your pants.

I LOVE this collection. You're inspiration is visible without hitting me in the face, and I like the two variations on the firecracker. The square details you keep through the whole set is amazing and really ties everything together.

Orange creamsicle: Love the simplicity of the top. However, you called the pants "cargo pants" which to me means tons of pockets and flaps. I think the outfit is pleasantly simple right now, but if the pants were maybe wouldn't hurt the outfit and might bump it up a notch.

Fudgecicle: So CUTE! Adorably simple. The line (that appears to me to be) across the bust worries me a little. I would rather see it above or below the bust more firmly.

Firecracker 1: So summer and fun! So many RUFFLES! I love it! It's girly but in a sporty, yet still sexy, way. The details down the legs are fun additions.

Classic orange: Very simple and sleek, but you add a touch of fun with the squares (which I'm guessing are pockets). It would really come down to construction and fit on this look.

Soft serve cone: Fun flowy top and fun sporty shorts. Love the little strap details and, of course, the square pockets.

Firecracker 2: MY FAVORITE! I'm a sucker for a simple feminine dress. The pop of color at the top and the bottom is just enough and again...SQUARES! I hope THOSE ones aren't pockets, j/k. Seriously cute

Wow! Thank you so much!

lol About the cargo pants...I actually did have more stuff on it, but I accidentally erased the bottom half and outlined before putting it back. ^^; I was like "oh, well", but if I were to make them, they'd definitely have more pocket-age. :D

(The pockets on the cargos and on the shorts would be more "puffy" and stick out, while the pockets on everything else would be flatter and not really noticeable.)

Again, thank you so much for this feedback! I'm so happy that you like it! :) :) :)
